GHS Pet Parade – A Fun-filled Afternoon for All!

The Galesville Heritage Society is excited to host its first annual Pet Parade on Sunday, September 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the museum on Main Street. This family-friendly event promises to be a delightful afternoon for both kids and adults, bringing together the community to celebrate their furry (and perhaps feathered or scaly!) companions. Registration kicks off at 2 p.m., and the parade will officially begin at 2:15 p.m. Whether your pet is known for its adorable antics, or you have crafted an eye-catching costume, this event is the perfect opportunity to showcase your beloved pets.

A highlight of the parade will be the prizes awarded in various fun categories.

But don’t worry if your pet doesn’t take home a top prize—All participants will receive a special treat just for joining in the fun!

The event isn’t just for pets—owners and attendees can also enjoy refreshments provided by the Galesville Heritage Society throughout the afternoon. Important to note: All pets must be on a leash and accompanied by their owner for the safety of all participants.
